This autumn there are a whole host of exciting clubs available in the Prep School, these include the following:

Art Club - An opportunity for scholars and others to spend some creative time with Mrs Pickance in her studio.

Athletics - Work on your strength, speed and conditioning with Mrs Dinnage's Athletics Club.

Ballet & Modern Dance -  Shining Lights Performing Arts Academy continues with our popular Ballet and Modern Dance activity.

Chess Club - Hone up on your chess skills competing with other pupils, with Mr Hill.


Chocolate Club with Miss Witt - Familiar to many for her award-winning chocolatier talent and teaching. As always, Miss Witt, has an superb itinerary planned for Autumn term. Whilst tasting, testing and making their own delicious creations to take away, pupils will also learn the science and history behind cocoa. NB. includes milk and soya; nut free. 


Football (Boys & Girls) - Mr Wayne's club is designed to give pupils of mixed abilities a chance to improve their techniques and practice skills in a match.


Golf - Golf pro Matt Vineer coaches pupils in their individual swing technique and different aspects within the game of golf.


Latin - For budding Latinists, whether beginner or improver: Mr Hill's class aims to give pupils both an understanding and love of Latin whilst gaining a solid grounding in the language. Learning Latin also benefits studies of the Romance languages as well as English grammar, vocabulary and spelling.


Running Club - Running Club with world-class athlete Mrs Valeria Sesto is for children who are up for a challenge and looking to build upon their stamina in the beautiful and extensive Walhampton grounds. 


Sailing - Aimed at pupils who have already completed RYA stages 2 or 3; a chance to get out on the water during the first half of Autumn term. 


School of Comedy - In Laura Lawson's renowned School of Comedy, children are encouraged to explore their own unique brand of improv, sketch and character comedy, not to mention being able to make people laugh, create exciting new ideas, and most importantly, increase their confidence week by week.


Speech & Drama - A taster of what to expect from LAMDA in the Middles and Seniors; through games and improvisation, pupils will work towards performances in class and to parents.


Sport Karate - Sport Karate is an exciting and dynamic way of keeping fit and improving coordination, whilst gaining self-confidence. The award-winning class which has been featured by the BBC and Meridian TV on several occasions (visit www.sekf.co.uk to see videos) will be run by Collin Rudkin: 7th Dan Black Belt and ex-England International, and Carla Rudkin-Guillen: current English, British and Commonwealth Karate champion. 


Tennis - Pupils can brush up on their game with excellent coach, Dan Hitchins from Milford Tennis & Squash Club, using skill-based drills and games.
