Easter Holiday Camp
Our Funseekers holiday camp will be running for children in Nursery to Year 8 on weekdays from 31 March 2025 to 4 April and 7 -11 April. Adventurers: Nursery to Year 1 Timetable
Nursery to Year One:
Each day will feature a variety of exciting activities that change daily from 8.30am to 4.30pm, including:
Foraging adventures
Art studio creativity
Outdoor learning & pony care
Crafting & planting
Tree climbing & pond dipping
Cooking & story time
Free play and rest
In addition to our varied planned activities, we always follow the unique interests and needs of each child, ensuring a personalised experience. Healthy morning and afternoon snacks will be provided daily to keep your child energised.

Tuesday, April 1: Trip to Marwell Zoo
Wednesday, April 2: Trip to the cinema (Snow White) & outdoor play
Thursday, April 3: Easter Crafts & Chocolate Workshop with Miss Witt
Friday, April 4: Trip to the Solent Sea Wall for bird watching & Nature Activities
Monday, April 7: Team Games
Tuesday, April 8: Trip to Moors Valley
Wednesday, April 9: Trip to Exbury Gardens
Thursday, April 10: Easter Crafts & Chocolate Workshop with Miss Witt
Friday, April 11: Trip to Hurst Spit and Lighthouse & Nature Activities
In case of poor weather, we will have indoor games such as basketball, dodgeball, badminton and the human knot challenge. Additionally, over the course of the two weeks, children will be divided into small groups and given the chance to paint large wooden eggs to be displayed along the fence-line of the school as part of the Easter festivities.
Healthy morning and afternoon snacks will be provided daily but please provide a packed lunch (nut free).
NOTICE: There is now a change in sign-in and pick-up location for the Explorers from the Middles Gate to the Main Front Hall. Starting this Easter Holiday, please use this new location for all pick-ups and drop-offs.
Pricing
(All entry fees, and workshops are included in the price for camp)
1-3 days: £60 per day
4-7 days: £55 per day
8 or more days: £50 per day
Same day sibling sign-ups: second child is given a 20% discount, third child is given a 40% discount
Fee will be applied for late pick-up
Payment will be required in advance to secure your place via bank transfer (details shared upon booking confirmation). We also accept childcare vouchers. VAT does not apply to this portion of camp.
What to bring (all days):
Water bottle
Sun screen and sun hat on sunny days
Warm coat (preferably waterproof)
Waterproof trousers
Wellies or a change of shoes for outdoor play
Warm hat
Small back pack to carry items while out on day trips
A wholesome, nut-free packed lunch. To keep them energised throughout the day, we will provide healthy morning and afternoon snacks.
Booking
Sign up will go live on 7th March. To book please complete our booking form to the right/beneath by 21st March.
If you miss the booking deadline of 21st March 21, we may still be able to register your child. However, on days where the Explorers (Year 2-8) are participating in pre-booked activities to Exbury Gardens, the cinema, and Marwell Zoo, this will not be possible.
For our older year group, friends and family of Walhampton pupils are also welcome to join in the fun! To register non-Walhampton children, please email us at funseekers@walhampton.com for a separate form.
Additional Holiday Activities
Bikeability: Hampshire County Council will be running Learn to ride and Level 1 (both Year 3+) as well as Level 2 (Year 5+) cycling courses here at Walhampton on Wednesday 16th April. Learn to Ride and Level 1 run for 1.5 hours whilst Level 2 is a 6 hour course. The sessions are funded by HCC and just require a £5 admin fee. Further information and sign up is available HERE.
