Next Talk: 'Being a resilient sportsperson' and 'Encouragement not pressure' led by Lorraine Lee
Monday 29 September 2025
Our next talk on Monday 29 September 2025 is an interactive workshop delivered by Lorraine Lee designed to help both pupils and parents in handling emotions, challenges, and success through your child's sporting days at Walhampton and beyond. Split into two parts, the first talk offers pupils the strategies to build confidence and resilience, reframe disappointments and set realistic goals. The second session has been designed exclusively for parents to gain skills in recognising overwhelm, delivering powerful encouragement and supporting mental health. Delivery will be through discussion, Q&A, demonstrations and videos. Friends of Walhampton, both pupils and parents, are very welcome to attend this event.
